On January 27, 2014, several descendants and relatives of Patrick and Bridget (Stevens) McIntyre gathered in San Francisco and made a pilgrimage to the cross streets. The intersection is located about three blocks from Ghiradelli Square. Of note, one of the building which housed the Pioneer Woolen Factory, where Patrick worked, is now a showroom for all forms of delectable Ghiradelli chocolates.
