Sarah A. McLaughlin, 8, Female, born New York

George McLaughlin, 4, Male, born New York
Jessicka McLaughlin, 2, Female, born New York
I was unable to find the McLaughlin family in the 1870 US Census. Perhaps they moved. More researching to do.
Of note:
- In the 1855 NY State census, it is stated Mary was born in Ireland, but in the 1860 US Census it states England, the same as noted in the 1850 US Census when she is living with her parents.
- A "skin dresser" prepared animal skins for the manufacturing of clothing or footware.
- Given the birth c1852 of their first child, Sarah A., Hugh and Mary probably married between late 1850 and 1851.
